A year after the acquisition, Christiansons by Fluid will become Fluid Interiors.

We are excited to announce that a year after the acquisition of Fargo-based Christiansons by Fluid, a full-service office furniture dealer and service provider, will become Fluid Interiors as of January 1, 2024.

After the acquisition on Jan. 1, 2023, there has been no disruption in how Christiansons by Fluid operates. Its 18 employees have remained in Fargo, N.D., and St. Cloud, Minn., to service current and future customers. Roger Christianson will remain Fluid’s regional market president in Fargo. His deep knowledge of the area and its business climate continues to accelerate the combined company’s growth in eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.

This integration under the Fluid brand is an excellent opportunity to provide additional services and resources to our customers and continue transforming spaces in ways that spur human connection and spark innovation.

Christiansons has always been dedicated to transforming spaces, culture and wellbeing for both customers and employees, and Fluid shares these values. We look forward to connecting our teams and continuing the level of excellence our employees, our customers and our suppliers expect and deserve from us.

You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have. -Maya Angelou

How much would you pay for an 8-year old’s drawings?

That is the question I asked my neighbors when instead of a lemonade stand, I attempted to sell my sketches at the end of my driveway. Never mind that my house was on a 4-lane busy street and that wood blocks held down the paper on my make-shift table. No-one stopped to buy any, but I do not remember feeling disappointed. It did not stop me from finding creative outlets. I’ve been writing and drawing ever since. I am fortunate that it is part of what I do as Creative Director at Fluid. Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to practice commercial Interior Design, lead a business as EOS Integrator, and now elevate the profession of Interior Design as President-Elect of the Northland Chapter of IIDA.

Those in the Architecture and Interior Design industry have the unique ability to translate the abstract into the tangible. We empathize with clients and create solutions that positively impact the built environment. With each passing year, I realize the importance of telling this story and sharing my passion with others. The profession of Interior Design has allowed me to hone certain skills and draw connections to others. Communicating the importance of user experience; its’ influence on the business world is my unique skill.
